Country of Pets Provider Agreement

Country of Pets is committed to maintaining a trusted, safe, and transparent platform for pet owners and service providers. This agreement helps protect customers, providers, pets, and Country of Pets by clearly explaining each party’s responsibilities.

1. Independent Provider Status

I understand that I am an independent service provider. I am not an employee, partner, agent, representative, or contractor of Country of Pets.

2. Legal Compliance

I confirm that I am responsible for following all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, rules, regulations, licenses, permits, certifications, and professional requirements related to the services I provide.

3. Veterinary Services

If I offer veterinary services, I confirm that all regulated veterinary services, including diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, surgery, vaccination, emergency care, and medical advice, will only be provided by individuals legally authorized to practice veterinary medicine in the applicable province or territory.

4. Insurance and Qualifications

I agree to maintain appropriate business liability insurance, professional insurance, certifications, training, and any required documents for the services I provide.

5. Truthful Information

I confirm that all information, documents, qualifications, service descriptions, pricing, images, and business details submitted to Country of Pets are true, accurate, and complete.

6. Country of Pets Platform Role

I understand that Country of Pets is a marketplace, listing, marketing, and booking platform. Country of Pets does not directly provide veterinary, grooming, boarding, daycare, walking, training, or other pet-care services.

7. Provider Responsibility

I am solely responsible for the services I provide, including customer communication, scheduling, pricing, cancellations, refunds, pet safety, service quality, professional conduct, and compliance with applicable laws.

8. Customer and Privacy Protection

I agree to handle customer information responsibly and comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws. I will not misuse customer contact details or pet information received through Country of Pets.

9. Platform Removal Rights

Country of Pets may review, reject, suspend, restrict, or remove any provider profile, listing, badge, promotion, or account if Country of Pets believes the provider has violated platform policies, legal requirements, customer trust standards, or this agreement.

10. Indemnification

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Country of Pets, its owners, team members, partners, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, legal fees, complaints, injuries, disputes, or government actions arising from my services, actions, omissions, negligence, misrepresentation, legal non-compliance, or customer interactions.

11. Agreement Acceptance

By submitting my provider application or continuing to use the Country of Pets platform, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to this Provider Agreement.
